Tee it Up for the Troops has partnered with SGAC for a 7th year. Attendees can choose to support or support and play alongside a veteran. Tee it Up for the Troops was founded by the family and friends of a soldier serving in Iraq. When the soldier was asked what he needed, he responded by requesting help for returning service members and their families. Tee it Up for the Troops was established to honor that selfless request and today provides support to critical areas of need including treatment of PTSD, suicide awareness and prevention, sports and recreation, employment, family and caregiver support, and housing. A registration fee of $700 includes transportation, registration in their year's SGAC golf tournament, golf course fees for you and a veteran, and lunch.
"SGAC not only fosters networking opportunities, but also is a conduit for invaluable professional development. I appreciate the time spent with public sector officials and industry experts to discuss a variety of policies and issues that impact residents across the country. Seminars are engaging and informative, and partnerships with state government organizations like CSG and NCSL continually strengthen that professional development and networking." - Representative Helene Keeley, DE
